We are looking for an ambitious and talented postdoc to work on exciting synthetic genomics projects, such as the international synthetic yeast genome project (www.syntheticyeast.org) and/or the international Genome Project-Write (http://engineeringbiologycenter.org). It is essential that the postdoc is highly skilled with extensive experience and knowledge in the use of genome engineering. A good understanding of chromosome biology will be essential. A strong collaborative team-based ethos is imperative. It is essential to have a relevant PhD in synthetic biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics or relevant disciplinary, with good journal publication record.
