One Post-doc research associate position is available in Dr. Yi Wang’s group in the Biosystems Engineering department at the Auburn University. The candidate is expected to start as soon as possible. The appointment is for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of renewal depending on performance and funding availability. The research focus would be on ‘value-added biofuel and biochemical production through bioprocess engineering, metabolic engineering, and synthetic biology strategies’. Prospective candidates with background in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biomolecular Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Bio-Materials Engineering, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply. Prior research experiences in bioprocess engineering, molecular biology, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, bacteriophage handling, and fermentation are preferred, but not required.
